Desert VA was founded by Ben Paglinawan, a Dubai based professional with over 16 years of experience across technology, financial services, and logistics. His career has been built in real business environments working closely with teams, customers, and operations in fast moving industries across the Middle East.

Before starting Desert VA, Ben served as Head of Sales and Customer Experience for a premium moving and storage company in Dubai. Over a 9 year journey, he led the sales and customer care team through a period of strong growth, helping the company expand five times in both size and revenue. That experience gave him a deep, practical understanding of what keeps businesses running smoothly behind the scenes systems, communication, consistency, and execution.

Ben’s background in business started long before his corporate career. Born and raised in the Philippines, he grew up around family run businesses where sales, operations, and customer service were part of everyday life. That early exposure shaped a grounded, hands on approach to business and a strong appreciation for discipline, relationships, and hard work.

Over time, this combination of family business experience and corporate leadership in Dubai led to a simple but important realization:
