Sales Support

Sales Support & Appointment Setting Assistants

Desert VA sales support provides a dedicated remote assistant who does the groundwork before your sales team steps in: prospect research, outreach list building, CRM pipeline updates, appointment setting and follow-up sequences. Desert VA recruits, employs and manages that assistant, so your reps spend their time selling.

Prospect research, outreach lists, CRM updates, appointment setting and follow-ups, handled by a managed virtual assistant in Dubai.

What It Covers

What This Assistant Handles

Prospect research

Prospects researched and qualified against your criteria before anyone spends selling time on them. What lands on a rep’s desk has already been through the filter.

Outreach list building

Clean, current outreach lists built to your definition of a good fit, not scraped wholesale off a directory. They get maintained as they age, so nobody works the same dead contact twice.

CRM pipeline updates

The pipeline kept accurate: stages moved, notes logged, records updated the same day the activity happened. A forecast is only worth reading if the data underneath it is current.

Appointment setting

Calendar coordination, confirmation calls and emails, and reminder sequences that keep booked meetings booked. Confirmations and reminders are about the cheapest thing you can do about no-shows.

Follow-up sequencing

Follow-ups sent on schedule, so deals do not go cold through nothing more than silence. Plenty of them are never turned down at all; the replies just stop coming, and a scheduled follow-up is what catches those.

What It Looks Like

A Realistic Week

Daily

New prospects researched, the CRM brought up to date, and confirmations and reminders sent for upcoming meetings.

Weekly

Outreach lists extended and cleaned, and follow-up sequences advanced for anyone who has gone quiet.

Ongoing

Pipeline hygiene maintained, so your reporting reflects where deals stand today and not where someone last remembered leaving them.

The exact rhythm is agreed with you during onboarding. This is the shape the work usually takes, not a fixed script or a service-level promise.

Where We Work

Working With a Dubai-Based Team

The Desert VA team sits in Dubai, and assistants are screened and trained for UAE and GCC businesses. For sales groundwork that means outreach and appointment setting run on the UAE working week, with cover across time zones when your prospects are not all sitting in it.

Scope

What This Role Does Not Cover

Worth being clear up front. Knowing where a role stops is how you avoid making the wrong hire.

Out of scope
  • Closing deals or negotiating terms. The groundwork is prepared; the selling stays with your team
  • Pricing, discounting or contract authority
  • Cold calling as a primary channel. Coordination and confirmation calls are in scope; outbound telesales is not
  • Guarantees about lead volume or conversion. Activity is delivered, outcomes depend on your offer and market

Before You Decide

Is This the Right Role for You?

A good fit if

Your sales people spend more time on research and admin than on conversations
Meetings get booked but not confirmed, and no-shows are the result
Your CRM is out of date often enough that you do not fully trust the pipeline
You have a defined idea of what a qualified prospect looks like

Probably not yet if

You need someone to close, not to prepare the ground
Outbound phone selling is the main channel you want covered
You cannot yet describe who a good prospect is. That definition has to exist before it can be handed to anyone
Questions About This Role

Before You Book a Call

Does a sales assistant actually speak to prospects?

For coordination, yes. Confirmation calls and emails around appointments are part of the role. Selling conversations are not. The assistant prepares and protects your team’s calendar; the people in the meetings are still yours.

Can you guarantee a number of qualified leads?

No, and anyone who does is guessing. What gets delivered is the activity: research, list building, sequencing, confirmations and pipeline maintenance. How that converts comes down to your offer and your market, neither of which an assistant controls.

Will an assistant work in our CRM or a separate system?

Yours. CRM pipeline updates are on the standard task list, and the role runs inside the tools you already have. Nobody sets up a parallel system for you to reconcile later.

Will outreach follow the way we already contact prospects?

It follows your rules. Lists are built to your definition of a good fit, and sequences run on the cadence and channels you specify. An assistant executes the outreach process you already have; they do not turn up with one of their own.
